Biography

Troy is an experienced trial attorney in both state and federal courts. Troy earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, J.D., 1999 after graduating from Arizona State University in 1994, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Troy has been practicing law for 21 years. He is a successful partner who specializes in construction litigation, municipal/1983 claims, premises liability, retail, wrongful death, trucking claims, catastrophic injury, general tort liability, fire claims, large loss property damage claims, products liability, automobile negligence, transactional/commercial work and insurance coverage issues.

Troy has been repeatedly recognized as an Super Lawyer from 2015 - 2020 in the field of Construction Litigation. That honor is given to the top 5% of attorneys in Illinois as voted on by their peers. Troy has also been recognized multiple times as an Illinois Super Lawyer-Rising Star in 2011 & 2012 in the field of Construction Litigation. Rising Star is awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40 years old in Illinois. In addition to favorably negotiating and settling a wide variety of high exposure cases, Troy has achieved successful results at trial, mediation, arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Troy provides superior legal services to a wide variety of clientele, including municipalities, public entities, corporations, insurers, third party administrators, brokers, self-insured's, small-medium sized business, retail outlets, contractors and owners in all facets of commercial and general liability matters. Troy prides himself on keeping abreast of all the latest legal develops and trends by regularly attending and speaking at industry conferences and educational courses.

He has completed an OSHA 10 hour course on construction safety. Troy is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), Illinois Defense Counsel (IDC) and Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). Troy is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Southern District of Illinois. Mr. Radunsky has also been accepted pro hac vice in several other jurisdictions across the country, including Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana. 

Troy has been a Cook Country arbitrator for 17 years. Troy is a frequent author and guest speaker in the insurance and construction industries, where topics of discussion regularly include issues concerning risk management, claims management and litigation strategies.
